Halloween Cards

These are a few Halloween cards I made. For the ghost (the one with the cat, I used the black Cricut marker to "cut" the ghost and then re-inserted the cutting blade, hit reload and then cut it out. I think his facial expression is what makes him so cute.

Mom's Knitting

These are pix of a shawl my mom made me. She's into knitting like we're into scrapping (x10). When we were in Spain last summer I fell in love with some very inexpensive pashmina shawls. She decided I needed something nicer (I LOVE HER). So she made this and gave it to me last X-mas. Of course she asked me about the colors so she used all of the colors that I LOVE!!

I wish the pix showed how beautiful this shawl is. Different knitting, yarn/lace and beautiful bead work! She is really gifted.

Grad Sign

Sign I made for my daughter for her HS Graduation this June. I would have made one with more to it but when I told the kids to clean the house for her grad party they also cleaned up my work station. Also, at the time, I only had a few carts.

More Disney Cards

Well, before I move on to making some more Halloween cards using the VERY cute Recollections paper I got at Michaels and PDDU, I wanted to make a few more Disney cards using Mickey and Friends.

I was at Michaels this week (okay 2nd time this week....and it's only Wed.) and I found a package of x-mas buttons that contained the star button and small buttons that I used on these cards. That little cute star button inspired these cards. I didn't want to use all of the stars (there were only 4) so I decided to make the 2nd star with paper. My cards are pretty simple, but I'm planning on using them for a non-profit (for me) silent auction so although these take a lot of work I can't get too crazy. I'll save that for later! :) Also wanted to use my new MS border punch. A little more "masculine" than the pretty scallop lace border I have been using and definitely more masculine colors.

I LOVE this cart!! Layering takes some time but it is soooo worth it! Enjoy! Oh ya, just thought about this, I will have to put a lighter color paper on the inside for someone to send a lovely note..... ugh, not done.

Stay tuned for the very cute mitten buttons that were also in the same bag!!

My mom is a teacher. I made this for her. And this one is all done!!

Quilting.... my other passion!

This is the first quilt that I ever made. It was designed by my instructer Debbie Gordon. The interior is quilted I just need to finish the border.
